I have been in the fitness industry for over 11 years. I first received my Group Exercise and Kickboxing Certifications. Realizing how much I loved to help others achieve their fitness goals, I decided to add Personal Trainer to my list of Certifications. I have been training for over 9 years and couldn’t imagine another career that would bring me more pleasure.
My experience is varied. I have competed in 2 fitness competitions, and several local triathlons and 5K races, and plan to compete in my first Half Ironman Triathlon in November, 2010. I have raced motocross since 1996, and now as a trainer, understand more the importance for endurance, balance and core strength in the sport. I have been teaching ‘boxing on the bag’ for 7 years and most recently I added TRX to my list of certifications and have to say that it is, by far, one of the most functional pieces of equipment that I have ever used. I am so excited about the future of TRX.
