Athletics has played an important role for both me and my family. I excelled throughout high school and college, playing softball & volleyball and competing on a national level in cheerleading and track & field. During my 3 years as a sprinter on the Indoor & Outdoor Track and Field teams for a Division III college, I accepted the MVP award each year, was All-Conference and All-American academically, and ranked 13th nationally in the 100m dash and 10th in the 55m dash. I’m proud to say my records still haven’t been broken! I was so motivated by athletics that I majored in Physical Education vowing to teach children the importance of staying active and healthy in life.
After having my children, I lost over 30 pounds by eating right and staying active. I owe every ounce of confidence I possess to the experiences I’ve had in athletics. I know how awesome it feels when I achieve a goal I have set for myself and I want to share that with anyone who will let me. With so many years experience and specialty training, I have found my niche in training clients through circuit or boot camp style sessions. I love to teach Les Mills BodyPump, BodyCombat, BodyAttack & RPM. I’m also a Level 1 Battling Ropes Coach & TRX trainer.
My motto is – if I can do, so can you!! Even if that means we take baby steps. I will motivate and stand by my clients’ side in order to push them to the level that they desire so they are truly proud of themselves!
