Swim Team
Our summer swim team season runs from May through July with in-person meets to be held on Tuesday evenings, with 6 meets total. The Sharx practice will begin mid-May.
Practice times are as follows:
6 years & under:
5:30pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
(This age group must be able to float unassisted and/or swim on their own. They will only swim Freestyle, Back and Breast)
7-8 years:
6:15pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
9-10 years:
5:30pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
11 years & over:
4:30pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
(This group will potentially practice in the morning at 8:15am after school lets out.)
Our swim team practices twice a week on Monday & Wednesday, year-round with a goal to be the bridge between the summer league and the more demanding schedule of the USA Swimming programs. Our focus is on stroke development and building endurance – all while having fun! To participate with the swim team, swimmers 6 years old and older should be able to complete one length of the pool unassisted using a freestyle stroke with rotary breathing as well as knowledge of backstroke and breaststroke. If you are unsure of your swimmer’s ability, an evaluation can be arranged.
The first practice will start in September 4th in the outdoor pool. ClubWorx is in the process of heating our outdoor pool, so we will be outside for the majority of the season! We are excited to be able to offer this and that will allow us to offer more options!
If we cannot fill all three practices we will go down
to two practices at 4:30pm for ages 11 & over and 5:30pm for ages 10 & under.
We will be offering a Friday practice for those that are 11 & over and would like a little more focus and work! Friday night practices will be held at 4:30-5:30pm.

Amy is the Director of ClubWorx Swim School as well as the head coach of the ClubWorx Sharx, our year-round swim team. She has been coaching and teaching swimming as well as soccer locally for 10 years and has 20 years of coaching experience. Amy was a two sport athlete in soccer and tennis in college. Amy is also Lifeguard certified.
