80s Friday Night Yoga Social
Join us in Studio 1 for a yoga flow set to your favorite sounds of the 80s.
It’ll be, like, totally awesome! Dress in your comfiest leg warmers and bright colors. We plan to flow through
1 hour of yoga for all levels and then mingle after as we enjoy beverages
and appetizers. Bring your mat, your favorite wine or beer and ClubWorx will provide some snacks!
A Candlelit Couples’ Yoga with Chocolate Meditation
We will relax with a gentle, candlelit yoga sequence of poses that can be done alone or with a partner. We’ll end class with a sensory engaging, guided Chocolate Meditation reminding us of simple pleasures and savoring each moment. Chocolate Meditation includes a chocolate bar to share (one per couple if you are a duo – or one all to yourself). Bring your mats.
Restorative Yoga
In this 90-minute workshop participants will relax in poses, with the aid of props, without strain or pain. Restorative yoga enables deep relaxation as participants hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support the body. Restorative yoga allows for physical, emotional, and mental relaxation. Perfect for any age or level student, it is very gentle, and no experience is necessary, participants must be able to get up and down off the floor. Participants should bring any props they have from home (mat, bolsters, blankets), we will provide blocks, straps, sandbags, and eye pillows.

Hi ClubWorx members! My name is Mel and I will be your new Registered Dietitian. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania with my Master’s in nutrition science, became a board-certified RD, and got my licensure in the state of North Carolina. At the club I will be hosting nutrition focused events and workshops, working with you one-on-one, and answering any questions you might have. My favorite workout class I have taken so far is N10C, and I enjoy lifting, hiking, and playing tennis. Aside from fitness and nutrition, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and baking. My favorite snack is toast with peanut butter and chia seeds, I seriously eat it every day. I love what I do because proper nutrition, along with other self-care habits, has the power to transform your life and make you feel better than you ever have before. I cannot wait to share my abundance of nutrition knowledge and expertise with you all!
