Youth cardio deck orientation

Youth Cardio deck orientations are for children ages 10-12.  Certification with a Personal Trainer is a requirement for them to use the cardio deck with a parent or guardian. Cardio deck orientations are open to ages 13 and up, but are not required. Youth members will learn how to properly use the treadmill, elliptical and stationary bikes.  All youth members will receive their own cardio deck workout sheet.

Once the orientation is complete, youth members will be able to use the cardio deck with a parent or guardian at any time unless there is a pre-scheduled class actively running.

Orientations will be scheduled on an as needed basis. Contact the Member Service Desk at 919-567-3400 to set up an appointment with a Certified Personal Trainer. No one will be permitted to participate the day of the event if they are not pre-registered.

Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown is a NASM certified Personal Trainer and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps with 10 years of service. While in the military, on top of leading our normal fitness routines, he also served as a combat instructor. After the military, Antonio became a Mixed Martial Arts fighter, training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Judo. He is also an experienced fitness instructor that loves bringing a lot of energy, confidence, and positive energy to the room. Antonio specializes in teaching self-defence techniques, group fitness classes, as well as personal one-on-one flexibility and mobility training.
