My name is Lisa Frey, and I am a Personal Trainer, a Certified Senior Fitness Specialist, and Group Exercise Instructor at Clubworx. I am certified through NASM for personal training and AFFA for group exercise. I also have a certification in TRX. I have been teaching various group exercise classes here since 2009 and have been providing personal training to our members for the last 6 years. Additionally, I previously worked as a NC-licensed physical therapist with a background in sports medicine and orthopedics. Because of my physical therapy background, I offer a unique opportunity to our members who are recovering from injuries and hoping to return to their normal recreational activities. Although I am not able to treat you as a physical therapist, I have the knowledge and experience to incorporate that into my training. I love working with our seniors to help with functional strength and balance. The 30+ women’s population is another group I enjoy training to help build strength, muscle, and improve overall fitness and function. When I am not with clients, you can find me in the garage teaching our Smalll Group Training classes or in the studio teaching Group Strength on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Whatever your goals are, we will work together with an individualized program to help you succeed. I am here to push you, educate you, and motivate you on your fitness journey.
